For those who wonder what my involvement with UXnet over the past year or so has been, I am happy to say there is now an article out there that outlines what the UXnet Local Ambassadors have been doing for the last year or so. The article is published at UXmatters and is entitled UXnet Local Ambassadors: Building a Global Community One Locale at a Time by John Ferrara, Pabini Gabriel-Petit, and Louis Rosenfeld.
The whole idea of local ambassadors is to bring the local UX community in your area together. While UXnet does have ambassadors all over the world, there are still several places that don’t have local ambassadors. If you have an itch to bring people together for the good of the industry, you should consider volunteering.
